Steve Pietzsch is originally from Dallas, Texas but moved to Austin in 1993 to embark on a new career doing 2D and 3D artwork for computer games. This move followed an almost 20 year career as a freelance illustrator in traditional media. During his years as an illustrator he worked for a wide variety of commercial and editorial clients. Included among them were Rolling Stone, Omni, and Texas Monthly magazines. In the future this website will hope to update these old images and replace them with paintings still waiting to happen.
